Lone Wolf Documentary Group is pleased to announce it has been nominated for an EMMY award in the category of Outstanding Informational Program for their NOVA production of 'Dirty Bomb'. Produced by Kirk Wolfinger and Rocky Collins, edited by Jed Rauscher and written by Collins, the special examines the threat of a radiological weapon or 'Dirty Bomb' on an urban environment.
The program looks at the potential that such a weapon could be used and reviews examples of instances past and present where a 'dirty bomb' attack was attempted.
This represents LWDG's third nomination in as many years with a winning bid in 2002 for the documentary produced for NOVA entitled "Bioterror."
The News & Documentary Emmy Awards ceremony takes place Monday , September 12, 2004.
